Kanye West Makes Debut at Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West, may have battling images of celebrity jerk and celebrity genius. But it seems that lately he's being pinned the latter a lot more often. Whatever you may think of him you can't deny his amazing ability to succesfully dabble in any medium he wants. Production, Rapping, Singing, Film, what next? Oh maybe his very own fashion line.

Kanye West’s Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear collection, “Dw Kanye West,” made its debut at Paris Fashion Week. The ready-to-wear line, a collaboration between Kanye, British designer Louise Goldin, and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, featured a color palette of mostly black, white, and neutrals. Among the pieces in the collection were knit tops, skirts, leather pants, and low-cut dresses. Each one of the models walked down the runway in heels designed by Giuseppe Zanotti and wore identical gold nameplate necklaces that read “Yeezi.” Despite showing for the first time, Kanye’s runway debut attracted designers Silvia Fendi and Alexander Wang, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and celebrities Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, and Jared Leto.

KANYE WEST - Transcendent Performance

Kanye has done some really ass-hole things in the past. This is not one of them. I think it's true that talent transcends all preconceptions of a person. Talent will take a deush-bag and diefy them. This is the magic of Pop culture and the allure of flashing lights.

You can hide behind the flashing lights. People don't really see you. But the genious of Kanye in this piece is that he's not hiding at all. He knows the world thinks he's an ass hole - so he gives the people what they want. Ass hole in the hook.
