Decades of EBONY Magazine

Ebony Magazine has partnered with Google to offer their entire 65-year archive for free browsing. Each issue appears just as it did at its original time of publication, complete with period advertisements. We hope you enjoy. This is an amazing look into the history of black culture in print. One of my favorite things to do in this series is to zoom over to 1969 to see how Black media saw the civil rights movement when in the midst of it.

Jean Paul Goude - Artist Profile

A French graphic designer, illustrator, photographer and advertising film director. He created several well-known campaigns for brands such as Perrier, Citroën and Chanel.

He has a son, Apollo, with his former muse, the model and performer Grace Jones (The two were never married).
